Hello. I am trying to mail a celebrity in the UK. I know the postage required by USPS to get the mail there, but I do not know what I'll need for them to return the SASE to me in the US.

Based on my research for what I'll be mailing, I can buy "100g Large Letter International Economy" postage on the Royal Mail's website for £3.20, but I noticed it says "your items will need to be posted within 7 days", which does not seem possible for me.

Where can I get postage for my UK to US SASE? How have others done this before?

If you try to set up and pay for international postage back to yourself via the link above, near the end of the checkout process it says "Once you've completed your purchase, your items will need to be posted within seven days.". Obviously, that does not work.

How can I simply prepay/print UK postage to include in the request? Am I missing something?

I ended up buying UK First Class stamps on eBay because I didn't realize they were on Amazon

But they worked and I used them to get autographs from Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, and Ricky Gervais!

Next time I'll get Amazon stamps
