In January 2016, Helen Gym became the first Asian American woman to become member of the Philadelphia City Council from the At-Large District. On 7/09/2019 I mailed a letter explaining how I find Councilwoman Gym's work to be very inspiring to me at:

On 12/04/2020 I received a 2 page letter from Councilwoman Gym.

the envelope was damaged.
