Bamber acted in a handful of films and television series in the 1950s and 1960s; she was especially memorable as the snippy and obnoxious Alice in Roger Corman's hilarious horror black comedy cult gem A Bucket of Blood (1959). Moreover, Judy was a popular pin-up girl of the period: She graced the covers of and/or was featured in such men's magazines as "Modern Man", "Vue", "Glamor Parade", "Gaze", "Snappy", "Male Point of View", "Caper" and "Gala". In addition, Bamber also was featured as the cover model on various albums.
