Eurovision Song Contest!

Post by margotchanning »

Is anyone going to be watching? {thumb2}

I don't think England has got a chance. I hate the song (even though Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote it) and I don't think the singer is good enough to nail it anyway! {down}

It's an absolutely pathetic contest..........why oh why can't I draw myself away from it :lol:

I won't watch the whole show but will tune in for Germany. Wanna see the ridiculous song with Dita >> this only proves that the song's not good at all. Otherwise we wouldn't do such an embarrassing thing. Striptease - hello?!?! - I mean... :roll: Gooood :roll: It's a SINGING COMPETITION! :roll:

I'm traumatized that I'm missing it! I remember the French one last year though, it was so funny!

It is so awful but I always watch it. Missed it last night though as I was out but have it recorded so I'll watch the highlights of the show later.

Eurovision Song Contest represents everything that is wrong with the current European mass-culture. Don't mistake me for some moralist, I quite enjoy certain aspects of today's decadent culture but Eurovision? Every time I catch even a glimpse of the "show" (by mistake, of course) I feel like 200 neurons in my brain died in self-defense.

I didn't really watch it as I think it is stupid...Some countries had really bad singers (actually UK had a good singer but awful song)-I think Ukraine's singer was TERRIBLE! The way she danced and singed...Oh c'mon! I can't believe how she got into the final.
I liked Denmark the most, they had a great song. Norway is not that bad but it was not my favorite. The had a great show! The song is not anything special but it was a huge plus that the singer played a violin and dancers in background were amazing so I'm not dissapointed at all with the winner :)
