I heard he was known for his distinctive voice. I did see him perform in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I like to know him best as a voice actor because I heard he voice acted in these following animated films: Watership Down, The Plague Dogs, The Black Cauldron, The Lord of the Rings, Thumbelina, and Valiant. My favorite character he voiced is probably Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings. He signed both pictures I sent him, one is a black and white picture of himself and of Aragorn. Both pictures are addressed to me. No scanner.

I sent mine to the London address also and got it back a few days ago. Did yours have US stamps, postmarks or Great Britian?

The SAE had a US stamp on it for some reason and I thought since I used the London address I thought I would see a British stamp. But no matter, I am glad I got John Hurt's autograph.
