Re: American Figure Skater Gracie Gold success
Hello from California. Not sure if you will read these comments. I had never heard about you (because I dont follow skating) I just read the article (Gracie Gold’s Battle for Olympic Glory Ended in a Fight to Save Herself). You will get tons of emails and well-wishers now that your story is out. I am one of them : 60 yrs old, almost retired, young daughters of my own. I want to wish you GOOD HEALTH and a strong recovery. It would be great to make it to the OLYMPICS. You obviously have the drive for that. But take one step at a time. RECOVER, GROW, ENJOY LIFE A LITTLE. Make your best attempt at "COMING BACK". But real life is not like a ROCKY BALBOA movie. If you make it great. And if you don't, I want you to know that you did not let me down, (nor anyone else down). You did not even let yourself down. you gave it your best. I am successful, make good money.. Never learned to roller-skate, let alone ice-skate. Certainly was never good enough in any sport to make it to state championships (let alone the Olympics). When your mind, health and heart are all "pointed" in the right direction, you will be invincible. GOOD LUCK. STAY STRONG. You are already a CHAMP in my eyes. sign..... Some guy named Cesar.
