It is actually pretty common knowledge that Gretzky uses an autopen. You can search previous successes and compare. Like previous poster said, not trying to burst your bubble, but it is what it is.

That doesn't surprise me...I actually figured as much...

Wayne Gretzky has been using an autopen even back to his playing days. Compare signatures and you will see that they are identical.

ya its the truth guys this is the same guy that charges at signings a few bills for his auto why would he sign ttm for free. im not a big fan of him because of his arrogance so i would never pay for his auto. i mean its one thing to charge for your auto but 300 400 dollars is wayy too much. i mean gordie howe was charging 90 $ and i even thought that was too much, looking back big mistake.

i got lucky luc that day for 39 $ thou so i was very happy since i always liked him as a player.

Wayne is the greatest of all-time. You really can't expect him to be cheap. Remember that these people can't even put gas in their car without being asked for an autograph.

im not saying for him to be cheap but hes gotta realize thats 300 400 dollars for a autograph is ridiculious, i mean luc robitaille charges 39$ for his auto a very decent price for a first ballot future hall of famer. and jeremy roenick only charges 30$ again a future hall of famer. and im not trying to be mean but i just dislike wayne for his disrespect to both luc and jeremy ,he got luc traded in 1994 when they were both playing in LA.

I dont collect sports autographs at all anymore because they are too much and actually not worth it if you try to sell them later (trust me I have sold a lot of stuff for much less than I paid). I am sure Daniel Radcliffe, Christian Bale and many others I have gotten through the mail get asked for autographs all the time and they dont charge at shows to sign.

I think charging to sign is a sign of becoming a has been anyway. Stars that have not done things in years are the ones that charge most of the time. Current big time players hardly ever sign at shows and if they do they charge hundreds to autograph things. Thats why the sports market (autos and cards) are doing really poorly because they are only available to wealthy people or people that have money to waste.
