On July 15, decided by a unanimous decision, Manson follower Susan Atkins has been denied her "compassionate" release request. Given on basis, she has about 3 months to live if she is lucky. Even Governor Schwarzenegger got involved, opposing her request. Two of her previous inmates appeared at the hearing and opposed against her as well. Her hospital bills have reached over $1.5 million dollars, and according to her legal attorney Eric Lampel, "She can talk a little, but she can barely sit up without assistance. She cannot move around because her left leg has been amputated, and she is paralyzed on her right side." Susan is now more than likely to die in prison.
What do you all think about this...

Re: Susan Atkins denied "compassionate release"
I'll comment on this crazy. You can look at it this way. Did she have compassion at the time she took lives? She does now and quite honestly of all the Manson clan, I thought she was the most worthy to be released however not everybody sees it that way. What is absolutely amusing is the state did not grant her a release which if they had, the expenses would have been paid by her and family and not the state which are the taxpayers. Maybe another reason why this country is looking at a depression. We have morons running this country.
