Can't wait for the playoffs to start. My Phils have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. I just picked up a ticket for game two of the first series in Philly.

I'll be cheering for the Phillies myself. The ever popular Jamie Moyer used to pitch for my local AAA team.

Of course, I have to admit I'm intrigued by the success the Padres have had this year and hope they make the playoffs by some miracle this year. They are a very fan-friendly team on the road, so it's hard to root against them.

Offseason moves already started.

Dodgers extend Lilly, and Tigers extend Inge. Braves release Saito (retiring?) and the worst position player of 2010, Melky Cabrera. I honestly don't understand how Cabrera managed to stay in the majors all these years.
