Don't laminate! That destroys the value of an autograph

Hi Fanmail :mrgreen:,

Does anyone know if smoke can destroy the autographs? My whole family smoke so I can't really do anything about that. Could I?

THANKS :mrgreen: :D

Id like a little help here guys.

id like to buy a proper slip in photo album to store my 6x4 eastenders autographs in. Could you advise me on a suitable one from WHsmith or Ryman (if possible can you post the link please)

And i also collect other celebrities but all the photos are different sizes. Id like to store them neatly in an album of some sort. The sticky back folder that you get, i used but did ruin the ink, it was signed in as it was stuck to the photo. Id rather not use plastic sleves as id like them to be presented neatly as i said and something i can just flick through. Again could you please advise me on a suitable solution from WHsmith or Ryman (if possible again, could you post a link)

Thanks very much for your help {thumb2}

Would it be safe to slip them into those plastic sheet cover things? o_O (the ones that go on binders)

I also am a big fan of the clear plastic archival safe acid free "sleeves". I purchased a big box of them from Costco and have been using them for all sorts of things.

I have my organized in a binder by sections: Music, Movies, TV, Sports, Other

I also made up "dividers" on the computer to put in front of the autographs if there are multiple related autographs. For example, one divider is "Harry Potter Autographs", and another "Indiana Jones Autographs" , "Golfers", "Olympic Athletes".

OK, it sounds like I have too much time on my hands, but I really don't and it's easy to do. I just like being organized. Anyone can then sit down with the binder and have fun browsing thru it, without actually touching any photographs and smearing them, etc.

Hope that helps someone!

That's okay because I don't plan to sell/trade.

It will also fade the autograph after a while, just so you know.
