Up in the air- Amazing movie!!!!! Featuring three absolute star performances from George Clooney,Vera Faminga, and most surprisingly, Anna Kendrick from the Twilight saga. The movie is a comedy, but where it shines is in the drama. 5 stars

Lol I think it is too late, they were awarded yesterday I think! Not that I want Taylor to get one, that would be like shooting Bambi lol.As I recall, I think Sandra Bullock won for "All about Steve". Imo, without question, it should have gone to Zooey Deschenaal (sp?) for "500 days of sumer".

Ok, I see movies free at the shopping center I work at. Seen The Fighter, True Grit and King's Speech. All three films had amazing casts.
If I'm going to rate them; The Fighter, King's Speech, True Grit. Amy Adams and Mellisa Leo delivered great performances in The Fighter, King's Speech had me clapping at the end, and True Grit was amazing because of Hailee Steinfeld's superb acting.

Kings Speech- Crowd pleasing cinema at it's finest. Colin Firth will win the Oscar hands down. Geoffrey Rush was also wonderful, and Guy Pearce was brilliantly smarmy. Equal parts heartbreaking, hilarious and uplifting.
Lol now for a slightly different tone...
Black Swan - a masterpiece. There is never a moment when this film lets you rest. Bares many resemblences to The Wrestler, but is so, so different. Natalie Portman proves she can act, Mila Kunis is a revelation and Vincent Cassell is good as always. The classical music score is immense. Not for the faint hearted or prude.

Yes its an excellent film Jaffer. In fact I'm going for the second time this week as I enjoyed it so much.
Also I've seen True Grit. The Girl in that is an amazing young actress. I missed The Fighter at my local theatre though :(

I came across this last night: http://www.mattdamonmoviegoers.blogspot.com Kinda wrong way of reviewing films, about the people going to see the movie, rather than the movies itself! Black Swan is on there, as is The Kings Speech.
http://007collection.blogspot.com I collect anything James Bond! Autographs on my site!
Sent out: Diana Rigg, Christopher Lee, Sean Bean, Caterina Murino, Olga Kurylenko, Anatole Taubman, Caroline Munro, Richard Kiel.
