Carrie was a disaster musical. Closed after 5 performances!

No official recording has been made (despite an actually pretty good Broadway Cast), but there's a fansite for it that posts a Soundboard (HAAH I hope I don't get in trouble for this!) live from the Broadway show during its extremely brief run.

http://carriefansite.blogspot.com/2007/ ... sical.html

I have to say, that the title song is really beautiful (Carrie [That's Not My Name]), and there's about 1 or 2 other good songs (everyone's always a big fan of Betty Buckley + Linzi Hateley's songs)...Honestly, the entire piece is a mess. Everything about it--book, lyrics, music (it's all over!), sets, costumes (rated Broadway's worst ever AHAAH). Oh god, but still so interesting. I love the Bows/Curtain calls music that I might put on my website if it ever works.

I have no idea whatever possessed anyone to write numbers like "In", "Out for Blood", "Wotta Night", and a few others for musical theatre at all!!!!!!!! Give some of it a listen though! Hopefully you'll never see it on stage (1 its illegal to do! & 2, it's a disaster!)

LOL Dish out your opinions on it!
WONDERLAND:Alice's New Musical Adventure enjoyed a short, but sweet run on Broadway in Spring of 2011!

The last book I finished was Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. She is an amazing author! That book was so good I read it in like 2 1/2 days. (:

The next book I'm going to read is Mercy by Jodi Picoult. My aunt gave it to me to read because I enjoyed the first one so much. I haven't started it yet though because I've been working on my AP homework. (:

The last book I read was Twilight and I am currently reading Twilight again because it is SO good and worth reading again and it's worth every penny that I spent it on.

Right now, I'm reading Hamlet in a special comparative version (original + modern English) so that I'm ready for January when I go to London to see David Tennant and Patrick Stewart in RSC's Hamlet :)
