Here is the signed comic and sketch by Mr. Ekedal. It is in silver and is a little hard to see.

Here's my recent activity:

Chris Samnee emailed me:
As for signing comics by mail, I'm afraid that between a busy schedule and a messy studio, I'm unable to do that sort of thing. In all likelihood, anything you send would get lost before I could return it. Hope you understand.

Thanks for the kind words Chris. I've had some bad experiences giving out my address. Would it be possible for you to make it to a show instead? There's one this summer in Charlotte NC that I'll be attending. Thanks for understanding.

I have had some wonderful successes over the past few days!! Just haven't had a chance to post them until now!
Yesterday, May 14th 2011, I received an awesome rare success from cartoonist Chris Giarrusso!! He sent me 3 sketches and a signed comic book of G-Man: Cape Crisis which is out of print!! Photos:

I feel this is a rare success because the comic is out of print and it is signed!! Plus, unlike most people, he wrote his address on the envelope!!
Ok, so on FCBD, I met Jim Shooter and Rick Parker at some local comic shops of mine!
Jim signed my copy of Mighty Samson #2 and personalized it!! Photo:

Rick Parker signed my copy of Harry Potty and the Deathly Boring. I love the way he wrote me name!

What is your favorite non-cape comic?

Mine is Sweet Tooth, it is worth the read. Jeff Lemire is a master story teller. I have read some of his Superboy run but not all of it.

Speaking of Superboy, is anyone reading the Doomsdays Reign event in the Superman comics? I am a little confused by this.

Thoughts on Superman renouncing his US citizenship? This happened in Action Comics 900 and was well done.
My favorite non-cape comic would have to be Calvin and Hobbes! :D

I was snooping around other's past successes, and went to Chris Giarrusso's websight. He's doing a pretty cool thing right now. A friend of his his involved in an American Liver Foundation Walkathon. If you make a donation of 25 bucks, he'll send you a character sketch of your choice. I already touched base with him, made a donation, and have a Havok sketch in the works. Just thought I'd let you guys know about this, it would be cool to hear other artists doing stuff like this. I'll post a pic of my success when it comes in.

Looking forward to Springcon in St. Paul this weekend. Super psyched to get books signed by Howard Chaykin, Dan Jurgens, Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Patrick Gleason, and Phil Hester.

I had Howard Chaykin sign 5 comics that were a set he had done the art for. He signed them literally without even looking and was talking to his assistant or somebody not even looking at me. Anyway they were the worst little squiggles and were signed in really bad spots. Real jerk to me anyway.

I did a quick eBay check on his autograph and very few were more than a random squirmy mark.
I will NOT PM you an address.
I will assist you in getting said address.
IE: give you pointers on where to get it.
