I just remembered a few more names - I added them, and I gave everyone their titles {thumb2}
I see you have Manuel Noriega. I'm considering writing to him.

Re: Historical Autographs
I've thought about it but just haven't started yet. I was thinking I'd try no polical people or government, but people that actually did something great, like the first man on the moon or something to that effect.

Re: Historical Autographs
Historical autograph collecting is a great category. About a month ago I emailed the Richard Nixon Presidential Library requesting a preprinted signed picture of him and got an email back from them about a week later saying that she was "out of signed pictures, but would gladly send a preprinted picture of former First Lady Pat Nixon." So Pat Nixon would be good to get.
Historical Autographs I've received:
Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf (President of Liberia; First Female President elected in Africa)
Vigdis Finnbogadottir (President of Iceland 1980-1996)
Pat Nixon (Former First Lady) {preprint}
Rosalynn Carter (Former First Lady)
Betty Ford (Former First Lady) {preprint}
Bess Truman (Former First Lady) {purchased preprint}
Hillary Rodham Clinton (Former First Lady)
Laura Bush (First Lady)
Barbara Bush (Former First Lady)
George W. Bush (President)
George Bush senior (Former President)
Jimmy Carter (Former President)
Michelle Bachelet Jeria (President of Chile)
Fidel Castro (Former President of Cuba) {preprint}
Lady Bird Johnson (Former First Lady) {preprint}
Lynda Bird Johnson Robb (Daughter of LBJ and Lady Bird Johnson)
Luci Baines Johnson Nugent (Daughter of LBJ and Lady Bird Johnson)
Governor Jennifer Granholm (Michigan's Governor)
Roman Herzog (Former President/Chancellor of Germany)
Angela Merkel (Chancellor of Germany)
Alberto Gonzales (Former Attorney General)
Tony Blair (Former Prime Minister of Britain)
I'm really interested in collecting historical autographs as well...especially Presidential and First Lady ones.

Re: Historical Autographs
I'm considering starting a historical autograph collection as well. I love history, but don't care too much for politicians. Someone got Vaclav Havel recently, which I thought was quite interesting. Anyway, I just want to pick an era or movement and go from there. I was going to start with the 60s (Ken Kesey, Timothy Leary, Abbie Hoffman....) but they're all dead. I guess that's the trouble with historical autographs!
