The thing is ... it's NOT a success, because it's not a genuine signature. For it to be a success it either has to be signed by the person you wrote to.

Dude, there's nothing petty, and it's not an argument. The bottom line is you're not going to be auctioning that any more than a pic of Brad Pitt that you signed yourself. I'll say again, your charity work is commendable, I know how tough it is to get awesome items in, but there's no point posting sec responses, charity response or not.

Because they are pointless, and have no bearing at all "fanmail" and are not SUCCESSes. Post them as FAILS so any member can see from the main page that they are not the real deal. That way, less people will waste time (and money for those who send TTM rather than email in Travolta's case) and this forum does as it is meant to... provide FEEDBACK which is worthwhile.
