RIP Tony Curtis
Tony Curtis, who has appeared in over 100 films since the late 1940s, has died at the age of 85.
A representative for his daughter Jamie Lee Curtis confirmed that the legendary actor had passed away. No further details were given.
Probably best known for his roles in Some Like It Hot and The Defiant Ones, Curtis was a versatile actor who could play both comedic and dramatic characters brilliantly.
Although Oscar-nominated for his leading role in The Defiant Ones, Curtis has said he was disappointed at never winning the gold statuette, however he was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Curtis was married six times, his first wife was Jamie’s mother Janet Leigh. He married his current wife Jill Vandenberg Curtis in 1998.
A hollywood great a talented artist/painter and also wrote a great autobiography last year. Always a good signer
RIP
regards
Sean

Arthur Penn RIP
RIP Arthur Penn
Legendary Director
Director Arthur Penn, a myth-maker and myth-breaker who in such classics as "Bonnie and Clyde" and "Little Big Man," refashioned movie and American history and sealed a generation's affinity for outsiders, died Tuesday night, a day after his 88th birthday. Daughter Molly Penn said her father died at his home, in Manhattan, of congestive heart failure. Longtime friend and business manager Evan Bell said Wednesday that Penn had been ill for about a year. A memorial service would be held before the end of the year. Penn's older brother was photographer Irving Penn.

Every day I feel sad whenever I see there has been a new post on this topic. And just in the past week alone, so many great stars have been lost.
