I remember once i wrote to a band about 1 years ago 4 days before they were due to perform but a month later i didnt get anything. But about a month i recieved a signed album cover. So they must of kept it for them 2 sign next time round so you know it was to the Manchester Apollo.

It's not up to the celeb, it's whether the venue will pass on your letter or not. A lot of venues disregard fanmail and never pass it on.

The vast majority of venues pass Fanmail on, the main problem seems to be that certain artists don't always deal with it there and then. It then gets lost or left behind for the cleaners to throw away.

By the way, I would imagine that you'll be okay with Athlete and Kasabian, cos they're really nice guys, but I can't vouch for the others.

Yes, quite a few people have Via Venue sucesses. The bands are all British- And very good as well. LOL
