Postage question

Post by lilly06 »

Hey guys,
so far I've only been using IRC for my letters to the US. Now I'd like to try US stamps.

The letter I'm gonig to send is in DIN B4. I think the size in inch is about 9.84x14 (I hope i got it right). So what postage do I need for this letter back to Germany?

One 8X10 in a normal envelope weighs about an ounce which is 1.25 to go from the US to Germany.

If they add more (like cardboard) it will cost more--two ounces is 2.08 in US postage.

Hope this helps. {up}

Thanks very much :D
I found some old envelopes yesterday and they had stamps for 1.80 dollar on them. I guess that would be enough too, right?

The US has had a lot of postage increases over the years. You should be good with $2.08.
