Connie Fisher Success!
I sent fanmail to Connie Fisher (winner of BBC How do you Solve a Problem Like Maria) including a SASE, and received back a nice b/w signed photo.

I used this address:
Connie Fisher,
Stage Door,
London Palladium,
Great Marleborough st,
Oxford Circus
She wrote on the envelope, 'What a lovely letter!'
The address is no longer in use as Connie has since begun working at another theatre.

I think that this is the correct address of her current agent now:
CAM First Floor 55-59 Shaftesbury Avenue London W1D 6LD
Don't think you have a page on her yet...

Nice success! Heard she got some mixed reviews over there, but still kind of would have perfered to see her from a reality show over our GREASE Leads which were stolen from your show!
WONDERLAND:Alice's New Musical Adventure enjoyed a short, but sweet run on Broadway in Spring of 2011!

Connie? Her reviews were mostly fantastic - apart from when she developed some kind of throat infection after performing in 8 shows a week when the alternate Maria walked out. Talking about Grease is the Word?!TheScarletPimpernel wrote:Nice success! Re: Connie Fisher Success!
Yes I was talking about Grease is the Word from BRAVO (I think you guys had something about Grease on the BBC if I'm not mistaken). Regardless, Grease is so well known over here, it was stupid enough to have a revival but it's selling really well.
I was NOT a fan of Max Crumm's. Laura Osnes was actually pretty good, and apparently the new Sandy is pretty good, and I def like Derek Keeling (who should have been in ATOTC right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) is MUCH BETTER than Max.

I didn't watch much of it, just catched the odd episode. Yep can imagine it's selling really well! Are you going to see it?TheScarletPimpernel wrote:Yes I was talking about Grease is the Word from BRAVO (I think you guys had something about Grease on the BBC if I'm not mistaken). Re: Connie Fisher Success!
Max Crumm & Laura Osnes already left. I didn't see them. It sold extremely well until about the summer, when they decided to change the leads.
I really like Derek Keeling (mostly because of his connection(s) with ATOTC), but I probably wouldn't pay $125 to see any production of Grease.
1) The movies better.
2) I could just go pay $5 at a local highschool to see it.
If you're from the UK, like I think, it's different I'm sure over there about Grease. Grease has been on Broadway three times, and twice in 10 years (sort of!). The movie is overally "popularized" and just about every high school and regional theatres, among tons fo tours, have done it 487584758478547 pushing it down the throat of myself! LOL.
