Hello. Some time ago around the Casino Royale opening, I sent this poster off to Mr. Craig, and got it back pretty quickly. I heard he used to sign authentic TTM. Does this look good?
Daniel Craig question
Re: Daniel Craig question
Hi RDP!
I've never doubted authentic successes received from Daniel Craig before middle 2007. {thumb2} They are authentic, period. I have good reason to say this, and I've posted some scans for you to compare:
Firstly, here's the preprint he sends out TTM, thus this would his autograph:
Now, compare your autograph to the one in the above scan: the autograph itself is an almost exact match. Notice the "niel" part in "Daniel" - it seems to be a perfect match.
Now, as for the handwriting (personalised) part, here's my success I got from him in 3 September 2007 (I only got it that late because I didn't add enough postage so they had to post it in an alternative service):
The only difference between my success and yours is that mine is signed "to" and signed "DC", where yours is "For" and fully signed. {thumb2} The handwriting is again an exact match to the preprint part ("Many Rega(r)ds"). Also, notice that the "R" is similar to yours. And finally, I would almost say this is how I knew it was authentic, notice how he actually wrote "Many Regads" on the pp - he left out the "r"! And then on my photo he wrote "to Lizanne fom", instead of "from"!
I'll try to find an authentic in person example for you too but he only signs "DC" in person, so it looks the same as my autograph.
I hope this helps!

Re: Daniel Craig question
'Zanne already summed it up really well, so there's only one thing left for me to add. Another (rather funny) characteristic of an authentic Daniel Craig signature, is how the 'Craig' part actually looks more like 'Gay'. You can see this clearly in your pic.
Handwriting, signature - all spot on. Definitely authentic.

AUTHENTIC, OR NOTHING AT ALL.

Re: Daniel Craig question
Yeah, my brother makes a lot of fun about that - it's the first thing he noticed (typical!). But that's also a "trademark" of an authentic Craig autograph as you said, I'm sure a sec would sign more "clearly"! {thumb2}Shambler wrote:'Zanne already summed it up really well, so there's only one thing left for me to add. Re: Daniel Craig question
Wow. Thanks guys. I remember I got it back pretty fast, so I was unsure of it's authenticy. Glad I held on to it! Can't wait for Quantum of Solace!
