Celine Dion - (odd) success

Hi everyone

I wasn't expecting this to come back, as I had sent her my request while she was performing in Australia (I believe Celine is now in Europe).

I sent her a letter, 2 photos and SASE. However, it appears that she must have taken her mail with her as my request was posted from Belgium (she had 3 concerts there between the 13-16 May). I received both my photos back signed and personalised. My SASE was not returned.

The odd part about this success is the fact that there was a broken mini DVD disc in my envelope. I'm pretty sure it wasn't broken in transit here, as the envelope was cardboard backed and quite sturdy. Also on some of the broken edges it looked bent over, like it was bent by someone, and the fact that when I put the disc back together there were 2 missing pieces. Luckily the disc did not damage my photos.

lol, that's weird,the main thing though is that you managed to get your photo's signed by celine.
I really hope mines on the way now as she seems to be answering her mail whilst she is on tour

No idea whatsoever. There was no writing on the disc, so as far as I know anything could have been recorded on there.

I highly doubt it. From what I can see, the disc pieces indicate that the disc was broken before it was put in the envelope, given that some of the edges were clearly a result of being snapped in half. This couldn't have been done in transit in the envelope as there was no indication of the envelope being bent in half. Plus, there were at least 2 pieces of the DVD missing, so she couldn't have recorded anything for me.
