I would have sent one to Dimebag Darrell. Sad loss. Wish i could've sent something to him while he was still alive.

i wish i would have wrote to carrie underwood before she was more common to send preprints its been almost a year since her lost authentic succes thou none were personalized it just would have been cool to have something personally from her thou her autograph can be bought and i send her last week so you never know.
i also wish i would have wrote john ritter he was such a nice man. i may purchase his autograph one day thou because it would be a great one for me i actually saw his at a collector store last year it was actually a pretty good deal it was a cast signed 8 simple rules(the people who signed were him kaley amy martin and katey) and it was 70 dollars

I really wish I had wrote to George Best and Steve Irwin before they died.

I am the biggest moron. I had all the addresses to the people below and was too lazy to write to them straight away. And look what happens. They're all dead:
Brett Somers
Christopher Reeve
John Ritter (I loved him on Three's Company)
Jerry Orbach (Law and Order. I love that show)
Johnny Cash (He's different, since I wasn't collecting when he died, so I had absolutely no idea)
Brett Somers just died in September. UGH.

I have to agree with rpbluesman on this one, I wish I would've written Chris Farley. There weren't too many guys funnier than him as I was growing up, and the SNL cast members were so great, around that time, about sending out autographs, I don't know why I never got a letter out to him!
That whole, 'Livin' in a van down by the river' sketch is a classic and still cracks me up every time I see it!
Phil Hartman, too, as 'Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer', but especially Farley.

Seriously though, it happened so many times that I'm ticked off because of it.

Mstislav Rostropovich. He was considered by many to be one of the greatest cellists who have ever lived. He passed away before I started autograph collecting...
Re: Who do you wish you would have wrote to?
James Dean !!
But I wasn't born when he died...
