Andy Roddick -
I sent a letter and SASE.
SENT: August 14, 2006
RECEIVED: August 22, 2006
I received a color 4X6 Photo Card autographed in black sharpie.

Roger Federer -
1. I sent a letter only.
SENT: September 19, 2005
RECEIVED: November 10, 2005
I received a 4X6 Photo Card autographed in black sharpie.

2. I sent a letter, 4X6 Color Photo, and SAE.
SENT: September 12, 2006
RECEIVED: October 25, 2006
I received my photo back signed in black sharpie.

*Note according to Federer's website, he is no longer able to sign memorabilia sent to him.*

I have never written to Nadal. But, I have a request out to Agassi dating back to September 6, 2005.

Roddick - Generally sends authentics
Personal experience - Signed 6x4 photocard

Federer - Generally sends authentics
Personal experience - Signed 6x4 photocard

Nadal - I've only seen him send preprints, but that doesnt mean he ONLY sends preprints

Agassi - I've seen both preprints and authentics from him, seems pretty random

So, should I send a 4x6 photo to autograph or should I send a 4x6 envelope with my address and IRC for he to send it back with an autograph hand signed?

Don't send a photo! Most tennis players are away playing at tournaments. They usually pre-sign a bunch of photos and leave a stock with their PA's. Just send an envelope with your address and an IRC and you should be fine.
