He didn't send my CIC or SASE back, but sent their own photo in their own SASE. There a few small details that you can tell that it is genuine, including one of the photos below, with the smear of the autograph on the letter they enclosed.

It's autopen. Gates has never signed authentically TTM.

Smears mean nothing. 100% autopen.

Unfortunately i think its autopen. If it didn't have smears then there was a good chance that Mr Gates signed a few and they are being sent out selectively. Smears means autopen as i am sure the probability of Mr Gates signing and his secretary putting a covering letter at the same time is very very less and the chances of his office printing an autopen along with a covering letter is much higher.

Its a lovely pictures so cherish it as many don't even get a revert.
