Donald Trump - Crippled America

Post by V1701E »

Has anyone else purchased a signed Donald Trump Book from Premiere Collectibles? Received my copy through the mail. Authenticity seems questionable:

No, that's a legit sig. I've seen a ton of recent IP sigs at some of his speaking events that look like that and worse. Premiere Collectibles is a 100% legit site and I've bought several books from them in the past. A lot of the books they sell are signed first editions that are released when someone releases a new book...usually to drive up sales. You can find the same books signed on B&N's website or Books-a-Million...sometimes even cheaper when the books are first released.

Many of the Donald Trump sigs that you see coming back TTM are either PP or AP for the most part...and much neater because of that.

Lol I meant bad as in crappy not fake. I'd understand a crappy looking signature IP but if I'm buying a signed book id like a legible signature not scribbles

You'd think a billionaire could afford a Sharpie that doesn't run out of ink half way through the signature. I've reached out to Premiere Collectibles for comment regarding quality and authenticity. Back in December, they held a livestream event of Mr. Trump signing the books for sale. However, in watching the video, I noticed Mr. Trump is not signing book plates which now has me questioning authenticity. Knowing about Trump secretarials and seeing how the livestream video does not match the product sold--a lot of questions on this one.

Here is the livestream they broadcast. He's clearly not signing bookplates:

Here is one of the recent ones I mentioned earlier from a live appearance...

Typically, at book signings, they will sign all the books available and then will sign a certain amount of bookplates as well. I think you're fine. When you're signing 10,000 of anything your sig is going to change a bit.
