Since IRCs are no more, how do I include postage from the US

Since IRCs are no longer used, how do I include postage from the US to the UK (to receive a photograph from the UK to the US)? Do I send USD cash or do I need to request something else from my post office? How much should I send to cover postage from the UK to the US: a 5x7 photograph, letter and envelope to hold it all? Also, the same contents from France to the US? Thank you all for your help.
