This is a wonderful bonus for my collection.

I met George at Edinburgh Book Festival (see http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... 8&t=333326) where he kindly signed two books for my wife and myself. That day I had a photo with me but did not have the courage to ask if he would sign it as well as he had said no memorabilia and I did not know if he would count this as such.

Anyway, I was made aware of a contact email on his website and wrote explaining the above and asking if it would be possible to send my photo to him for signature.

His PA responded within half an hour of sending that email and explained that they were not accepting anything just now for signing but she would be happy to send me a photo if I gave her an address.

We corresponded on 22nd October 2014 and this wonderful photo arrived on 28th October 2014. Thank you so much to George and his PA.

I got mine from him a few days ago, really nice to his fans, although as someone commented "A bit more time writing the ending of your books and a bit less time signing autographs GRRM"! :D

Awesome collection. Really impressive. Looks great when you get them all together in one place like that. I think I've only managed 4 GoT sigs so far ... still, plenty of time to get a few more!
