I need help! the silver wants to come off..should i send a better photo so he will sign in black ink?

I sent mine to the Slate PR California address around the same time, so hopefully they forward the mail to him like the NY address did.

As for the silver ink, you can try framing your photo and use some acid free matting so the photo doesn't touch the glass and cause the ink to come off even more. If you do decide to send another photo try to pick one where most of it is light in color so he'll be more likely to use black ink. You can even politely explain your situation in your LOR.

As for keeping more silver from coming off, I spray mine with Krylon Crystal Clear. That's worked well. to minimize this in the future I've started sending pictures on satin photo paper instead of glossy. This seems to work well.

Well,
i sent a double picture to Norman reedus to sign and i'm thinking of waiting til OR when that comes back to get Andrew to resign and make a small note about the silver.

What can i do now you said? Where do i get that spray thing?

You can get Crystal Clear at most art stores, Michael's, etc. Any place that sells Krylon products. Be sure you try it out on an extra photo first so you get the hang of spraying it. Stay about 6" away with a back and forth motion. Remember you can always put on more, better not too much as it could drip/run.
