ALAN YOUNG RTS - WHAT'S GOING ON - ANOTHER DATABASE RTS

On March 24th I sent a letter, SASE and 2 photos and got back a RTS May 13th. I used the database address. Inside my envelope were smaller envelopes from 3 other people who wrote to him (post office screw-up again). This is the 3rd current database addres where I have gotten a RTS - what's going on? Are the admin's checking the addresses or just telling us that they are current for the hell of it? I guess luckyas13canbe is right.

That's weird, as there is a recent success from that address. Too bad! :neutral:

I am in the same boat--I first sent to the address in the database and got it back. Then I saw the recent success and sent to that address a few weeks ago and yesterday I got my envelope back...hmmm.

$50.00 seems mighty expensive for a minor star to ask for an autograph. It also states the website is closing at the end of June.

Yeah I know. Sometimes I'll try a celebrity TTM that sells on their website. I think that if they feel that your letter is sincere, sometimes they will sign anyway. Also, what I have been doing lately is - instead of requesting if an address is current (I got burned on BILL MACY, GEORGIA ENGELS, ALAN YOUNG, and BERNIE KOPELL with RTS's) if there is an agency listed I call them to see if the celeb is still their client and ask them if they will receive mail for them. Simple.

Maybe he's I'll? I don't know if he was a good ttm signer in the past but maybe his health is bad.

I never saw him as much of a ttm signer. I was surprised when I saw the success a few weeks ago. I know he had the site for some time. The prices seemed the usual prices for older actors. At $50, I see the possibility of the site moderator trying to make some extra money on fans who know Alan won't be doing much anymore. The photos aren't even able to be personalized so either she has little contact with Alan or he can't sign much anymore. Though I thought the recent success was personalized.
Amazing to think, a few years ago at HCS, you could get Connie and Alan for about $50. Now the signed photo is $250.
