Greetings. I have written to various stars in Russia and never had a reply. Why is this? I enclose my address envelope either stamps or rubles (neatly hidden away) and never got anything back. Is it because the postal system there is average/poor?
Am most interested to hear feedback from fellow collectors. If you have successes how did you achieve them? Were they from home addresses or federation/film company offices?
I would really like to know how to succeed in writing to Russia – reaching the star and getting a reply.
Or maybe Russian collectors can provide an insight for me and others...please
Thanks
Why is writing to Russia so frustrating?

Re: Why is writing to Russia so frustrating?
I expect mail delivery is average/poor within Russia but when something comes in from another country especially a western country it probably gets stolen because they think it has something of value in it. Just my opinion. I have had no problems mailing to the Ukraine but I have never sent anything to Russia.
