He must have hated my letter...

Do you ever feel like this? Especially when it's an actor/musician/etc. you like and it seems like everyone else is getting a reply? You keep trying and still no luck... do you begin to think they didn't like your letter or something?
It's happened to me. There is this one actor I really liked. I've wrote to him four different times in the course of six years. It sounds extreme, I know, but when there's a celebrity I really like, I will keep writing until I get a response. Because if you don't try, there will always be that one address you regret not trying or writing to, right? First time (circa 2010) it was an agency address I found. A year passed and no response. Okay. About three years later I tried his management and (new) talent agency. Nothing there either (which is weird since people seemed to be getting replies). Later (2014) I tried a home address. Since I read of a few people on another autograph collecting websit getting successes there, I thought I'd try writing there in hopes of better luck. Nothing. Last but not least I tried Facebook. He was on there so I thought "why not? I've tried other addresses. Maybe this one is the charm." I sent him a message saying that I was a fan, asked if he was still in the acting business (and what he was doing now). I also asked "is there a fanmail address people can send fanmail to? I've tried a few addresses in the past with no response." He read the message... and refused to reply.
I don't get it. I was sincere in my letters, and I never meant to come off as stalkerish, prying or offensive. I was just a fan who wanted an autograph and was thinking "MAYBE if I send to this address, I'll get one!" It just kind of makes me frustrated that others who write to him get a response and yet I got nothing. I can't help but wondering if it was something I said (or didn't say)? If he thinks I'm a creepy stalker... well, sorry. I'm was simply a fan who wanted to let him know I enjoyed his films and (hopefully finally) get an autograph (and that I knew he actually read my letter). Oh well.
Has this happened to you? Has there been that one celebrity you wanted an autograph of, but never had any luck?
