Happy collecting
Ever wonder what would happen if you click the words in the light gray box that say "Board Index"?

You should try it sometime.

Mw1221- for someone who "quit caring" about what happens on this board you sure still do reply an awful lot.

Yeah? I fail to see the connection.

That's like saying "For someone who likes oranges, you sure do eat a lot of apples."

You're not comparing things that are mutually exclusive.

Really not trying to start a petty argument like what goes on here every day, and don't have a problem with you either as you sometimes make quite good points, just curious as to why you even bother to post when you seem to be fed up with the immaturity and I have seen you say several times you gave up and this board was beyond saving- well if that's the case, just curious as to why it's even necessary to post and get involved in immature arguments and state the obvious on authenticity, people's mistakes, immaturity etc if you really care so little. Unless you are honestly having fun with this trainwreck. If that's the case by all means continue to have at it, you're honestly quite entertaining. Dig the YouTube show btw.

admin quit caring a long time ago, and he's still posting.

But, since you genuinely seem interested, I'll answer you.

The board is beyond worth saving. So I've quit trying.

That's why my posts have gone from genuine and helpful to incredibly snarky and sarcastic, while still being somewhat helpful, in certain contexts. My first post on this thread is one of them. It's incredibly rude, but it's also saying "Hey, you posted this in the wrong forum".

Other posts may not seem as helpful, but they're snarky ways of saying "Hey, you're an idiot. Learn how to use your brain", which I find to be very helpful advice.

There's also an important distinction to be drawn:
I quit caring about this site, I didn't quit caring about the hobby at large or my genuine fellow collectors.

So, yes, I am having fun with this train-wreck before it goes down in flames. But in doing so, there's at least a hint of helpful advice (though incredibly direct and phrased in the least helpful way possible) in pretty much every post I make.

Not to mention the wonders it's doing for my YouTube views. I've practically doubled them in a month.

And there is no "stating the obvious" in authenticity.

Authenticity is discussed in the Feedback forum to dissuade serious, yet sometimes greener, collectors from wasting their money/stamps/time on someone who won't sign authentically.

Feedback is for the reader, not the poster.

{up} Good answer. It is unfortunate that this site has gone so far downhill, I miss the days where others were genuinely helpful towards others on here. Congrats on the viewers.
