I know you said this was a one time thing but next time I would click "search" and type in the person you are looking to write to. A ton of posts will usually come up and that will show you if they send secs, autopens/preprints, authentics or even sign at all. If there are no posts you can always make a post in the autograph collecting discussion / request address to see if anyone has any ideas on if they sign or not. If you notice with Selena the last feedback posts were a long time ago, and MANY posts are just about preprinted autographs where you could have just emailed Studio Fan Mail (just a company that gets paid by the celebrities to send out preprints to their fans.. Again the celebrity never sees the emails.) That way no more postage/time/hopefulness will be wasted.Riley'sMom wrote: I truly appreciate your explanation. The information posted on Fanmail.biz (this site) when you search for an address to send Fanmail to Selena Gomez lists addresses, comments from people who supposedly received responses, and does not say anything about the fact that she no longer replies to fans.

Now, that is helpful. Thank you! The person who called me a brat and said they felt sorry for my daughter was not helpful, despite acting like they were giving me advice. I'm aware that person was you, but your more recent posts to me certainly do not have the same tone.vivalakayla wrote:I know you said this was a one time thing but next time I would click "search" and type in the person you are looking to write to. I think I took your original post wrong. Which is understandable for the internet. And which is why I replied defensively. & you are welcome.Riley'sMom wrote:Now, that is helpful. Thank you! She switched addresses so I never got a response, but I didn't know that at the time & was very upset and angry.
Now after getting some experience, I think I can definitely give some insight to the OP. I see where you're coming from; you work all day and bother to spend some time writing to someone (or your child does) and in an ideal world you should be entitled to a response, even if it is a kind rejection letter.
But lets be real; sometimes theres just too much mail for even a company to reply, even with fake pre prints.
As a child, I'm sure they are taking this much harder than any other age group, but don't let them think Selena didn't want to sign something for them.
Furthermore, don't buy a fake autograph for them, they'll figure it out eventually.
Tell them the truth, or just don't bring it up at all, kids are quick to move on given distractions![]()
Also don't take it personally, chances are if any human being other than the post man saw your letter it was just as he was handing in a stack of them which hollywoodrecords might have thrown out. No one read the letter and then threw it away.
