I know that a lot of them won't sign, so I was wondering if anyone had any experience of those who wouldn't sign. Also I know some people require you to send money, could people point out who those are?

Also, should I send my own 8x10 photos? And where could I get them? Just download em off google or wherever and get em printed up at walmart? haha

What should I include in my LOR?

Sorry for the 20 questions, kinda new at this and don't wanna do something detrimental to the entire process.

Thanks for any and all help!!

I know Steve Carlton charges $32, I've heard that Reggie Jackson, Nolan Ryan cost money how much i'm not sure. If you want some HOFers for free, try Ernie Banks, Joe Morgan, Hank Aaron and Jim Bunning in the database. I haven't tried them yet but heard about successes.

While many on here are very wary, for good reason, of buying on ebay, it is an indespensable source for good sports autographs. Recently I have bought Duke Snider ($32.50), Ralph Kiner ($19), Phil Niekro ($14), Rod Carew ($12), Raphael Furcal ($18), Barry Bonds ($12), Don Drysdale($7.50) and just tonight, Whitey Ford (20.50). All certified, databased and on Offical MLB baseballs. All one has to do is compare with authenticated examples on any search engine. Buying stuff cheap like an Andre Dawson autographed card for $3 is a thrill for me, because it's a sure thing. I still write extensively, but the response time and surity is better.

So, you're the one who sniped the Mike Schmidt... LOL, just joking. Thats awesome. I'm on a tight budget and sometimes eBay is cheaper than donations. I always wanted Whitey Ford for my Yankee Legacy and now I do. I just couldn't afford the $60+ dollars it takes to buy a ball, send it off and pay him.
