Just wondering if anybody keeps the envelopes that the autograph was received in?

If it has a hand written address on it sometimes or if it's one that the celeb sent that is unusual

Yes, I keep Every envelope I get back. Have quite a collection of them too, as I've been collecting for 11 years now.

I throw them in the trash. They are of no value for me. I collect autographs, not envelopes.

But it's okay if anyone else keeps/collects the envelopes.

Cha! I do! I decorate the ones I send to the actor or singer, and the return one for me. Of course, the actor or singer gets a better decoration. And I also think,"They touched this! This is their saliva on the flap..." I guess that last part sounds kind of strange, but that's how I feel. I'm in favor of keeping them.

I used to but it got to be a storage problem so now I just toss them. 11 years of envelopes! I don't know how you do it RyanJ!

Sometimes, the celebrity didn't lick the envelope and just used the clasps so the photo wouldn't fall out, so I reuse those and send them to someone else. It has saved me quite a bit not having to buy envelopes all the time.

Have 5 tubs and containers. Four of them have those nifty green file folders. each file has a letter on it marked A-Z and the envelopes are put in the file folders alphabetized by last name. I can post a pic of my system if you want. Doesn't take up too much space.

That's actually a really good idea. How do you store the autographs?
