Autograph Storing & Protection

Post by Brink »

I use a binder with sleeves for all my 8x10 autographs. A small amount seem to be getting bent a small bent on the edges and such. Anybody else have this problem? I try not to move them around a lot, but sometimes I want to look at them.

Also what do you guys use for storing and displaying?

I store most of my autographs in a photo album and the ones I want to display I have in frames.

That's why we constantly get the same questions asked over and over and over and over and over again. It gets to be a drag after the 53rd time.

But in any event, I store all photos 5x7 and larger in Ultra-Pro toploaders. I don't use a photo album (not recommended for autographs) nor do I use the pocket pages unless they are either 4x6 (or smaller), or I am not concerned about the well-being of the item. I have some (American) football autographs in sheet protectors, but only because if they get damaged it won't be a big loss. Once I put a signed photo in a toploader it stays there for all eternity.
