Preprint or Autopen?
If you had to choose one, which would you choose?
I would choose preprint because it is actually the celebrities signatures.

Autopen.
Both are worthless, and both are reproductions of the celeb's sig, but at least with autopen theres a chance of removing the AP sig and reusing the photo.

I wouldn't choose either, because they're both rubbish! ;)

Re: Preprint or Autopen?
I'd say PP. It's more obvious at first when it's a PP than autopen so it's less disappointing.
I received Gordon Ramsey's autograph in 2006 and I recently found out he only sends autopens. It's more disappointing when you find out it's an autopen, but when it's a PP you usually know straight away.
Can you imagine thinking you had a genuine autograph for 3 years then finding out it's autopen?
Pretty disappointing!

Really? How can you remove the AP signiture?Mr Kennedy wrote:Autopen.

I agree with Hayley completely, because I'm fairly new to collecting and find it hard to distinguish and therefore a PP would be like a definite answer for me rather than suspecting it's an AP but always hoping it's not...x hayley x wrote:I'd say PP. Re: Preprint or Autopen?
If I had to choose between PP and AP I would rather choose nothing at all
I do have a few PPs and APs, but they're mainly from the time I started this hobby, and then I found out they're worthless, and I don't collect or appreciate getting them any more.

AP
You actually have a chance at getting your picture "Signed"
PP is okay. Yes they are worthless but still, I like autograph collecting and I dont do it just to have authentic. I'd take anything except secretarial.
