I have a question

I have a lot of pictures that I just keep in the envelopes because I'm not sure what I can put them in where the ink won't smudge. What's the safest thing to put them in so I can get them out of all of those envelopes? Thanks.

This might be a little old school, but I keep mine in several shoe boxes under my bed. haha, no damage done to any of the photos, so I'm sure it's safe.

I put mine in acid free, archival safe plastic page protectors and then store them in an acid free leather binder.
