I would wait for warmer weather. I think he'll be in town for a little while, but I don't know if he'll be getting mail from the stadium or not during that time. I am holding onto my current unsigned Browns stuff until training camp next year, around June or July.

Got a RTS from Sam Bradford. Included a letter that said he doesn't have time.

Nato64 wrote:Knicks, I don't know if you are a fan of him, but Dallas Clark is AWESOME with signing jerseys. I had two from when he played for the Colts and never got around to sending them. I sent them to him at Tampa and he signed both. Turn around was like 3 weeks. Give him a try if you have a jersey. I used a priority mail box (you can request them from usps.com)with 6$ postage already attached along with my address on the box. The size I used was the size above a 6x6x7. Make sure it is NOT a flat rate box!! Then, I used the brown kraft paper (you can get a roll at Dollar Tree for a dollar) and wrapped the box. It shipped for around $5. Total I spent $11 or $12, but I used priority mail. I would say a safe price range would be around $10.
Thanks so much for your help! I'm going to see if I can find a cheap one on ebay. If not, I think NFL Shop is running a deal for the $300 authentic stitched jerseys for only $20! My friend stocked up and got a few and I'm probably going to do the same.

I sent Calvin Johnson a jersey mid December and he signed it, around a 3 week turnaround. I had never heard of him signing ttm before but saw a success on here and thought I'd give it a shot. Might be one to consider

Still waiting on a TRich mini to find its way home, been out a while, 6 weeks maybe. Holding out hope for it

pretty successful ttm day! not sure of the exact sendout dates for each of these, but they are all within 1.5 and 2.5 weeks

Randy Dixon, all american guard and former colts lineman 2/2
Jerry Burns, former Vikings coach 1/1
Heath Miller, current Steelers tight end 3/3
Johnny Robinson, Chiefs safety from the 60's 1/1 and gave me permission to send my chiefs mini helmet

as always, just send me a message if you need any of the addresses from these

i have a question. I have seen a lot of people on this site that have had successes with getting mini helmets signed. I was wondering how do you send them in the mail with return postage? im trying to picture this in my head how it would work but i really dont get it for some reason. do you include a box inside of the box and if so how do you pay for the postage on it? i have gotten a Mercury Morris mini helmet signed ttm but i never sent return postage or anything so i was lucky to get it back. (that was back when i was new to this hobby and didnt know what i know now) i have decided i would like to get some of my mini helmets signed but im used to only sending cards. any tips or advice on the best method on how to do it and how much it would cost would be appreciated. i know it may sound strange coming from a person who has collected for a couple years now, but it would be my first time sending one out (the right way, anyway.)

I use flat rate from usps both ways. I put the helmet in the small box, then put the small box in a bigger box. apply postage label to both boxes and send. Costs about $10 for both ways with tracking.

Ok so would it be cheaper if I shipped it in my own brown box if I find one?
So when you put it in the smaller box you don't seal the small box...ok I think I'm gonna try it. Thanks!

I put stamps on a brown box with my return address and then wrap that box in brown shipping paper, looks kinda like a Christmas present. Once the player rips off the paper the box is already to be shipped back. Found this to work really well.

That's right, I don't seal the smaller box, just set it unsealed in the big box with the helmet in the smaller box. I add padding to the smaller box so all the player has to do is open the big box, sign the helmet, set it back down in the small box, tape it up and ship. I already have the label affixed and everything. You can ship in your own box, but I think it adds maybe $1 or $2 depending on where you're sending. If you use one of the flat rate boxes, it's USUALLY cheaper, can't quote me on that though.
