Cena rides to each town in a bus. To be honest, the photos are a huge seller. WWE might sell 20 (low end) -100 (high end) at each event, meaning he likely signed about 500 to begin with and only has to sign enough to replace those sold the rest of the way on that item.

Not nearly the same as being Jeff Hardy and signing two autographs for all 300 TNA fans in attendance.

TNA ropes the fans in like a carny..

Imagine a festival or fair midway if you win, "You can win a prize" (get autographs of the stars) the carny promoter says and displays all the big prizes (main event talents) up front with the smaller ones on a shelf under the table.

Once you pay to throw a dart at ballons (or purchase the $50 meet-and-greet ticket), it's essentially if you break enough balloons and play enough times (or pay enough in TNA's case), you get a shot at the big prize.

WWE only promises a sports entertainment show. They never promise a meet-and-greet with the "stars" only to be shown the lower portion of the card and then be given the option to pay even more money to meet the upper tier talent.

Spin it as catering to the fans.. I'll call it carny tactics because that's what they are.

I've heard of numerous people that don't know any better and probably don't have enough to make their bills who dropped down $50 apiece for a family of four, misled to believe they were gonna get their kids a meeting with Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, etc., only to be disappointed to the point of causing a scene when the six wrestlers they sent out did the around the ring circuit.

TNA carny deal = advertising meet and greet with the company's stars and then getting Garrett Bischoff, Sarita, Rosita, Eric Young and ODB for $50.

Then, once one enters, they're bilked out of $15 first for whomever the figure deal is. After those are sold, the backstage pass shill is done for another $50 where fans can usually meet the talent that signed figures plus the upper portion of the card.

As for getting money's worth, don't even get me started on how idiotic TNA has been of late in trying to enforce the only TNA merch rule. That's carny right there to force fans that paid to get in and paid to meet talent to buy the TNA program because they won't allow them to sign a WWE photo.

Bait-and-switch tactics. That's what TNA's house show model was built upon and that's what it continues to be. It's the old carny... Well, technically, we didn't tell you a lite, but we didn't tell the truth either and it's sketchy at best.

WWE offers usually a photo signed by one talent. They don't have to do it and actually didn't up until a few years back. It is a courtesy WWE provides for the fans since they don't have to subject their talents to carpal tunnel syndrome and only draw 500 fans in a 5,000 seat building.

Shows how up to date with TNA's house show model that you are these days, TNA hasn't done the backstage pass at house shows since the middle of October and in relation to that they put half of the main event, the semi main, the Knockouts match, half of the tag team match(or the x-division match), and half of the opening match in the preshow meet & greet (so you're lookin at Aries, Storm, Tara, ODB, Chavo & Hernandez, and Christopher Daniels. And even if you are looking at midcard/opening card talent it's not a lie, you are still meeting the talent in the company. Just not the ones you wanted so you can either go and enjoy the time or you can be a drag and piss and moan about it, at the end of the day it's all on you.. An arena or talent line up doesn't guarantee talent are going to be apart of the M&G, and they would be crazy to give away their top talent every show. Tristar accounts for a massive over inflation of autographs on the top talent, imagine 300 people at 2 items each over the course of 3 shows a week.

Funny you mention the TNA merch deal because I got Chavo (1 card & 1 promo), Tara (6 cards), D'lo (4 cards), and Anderson (3 cards & 1 promo) on plenty of WWE stuff, but given the lawsuit goin on between the companies TNA is covering it's bases in case WWE wants to go after them on some petty charge. I guess it's just my charm that got me that stuff signed without even one person saying a word to me about it, or maybe it was presentation that you disguise it between TNA merch. Even if TNA were enforcing the rule strictly to sell their stuff over WWE merch what the hell is wrong with that? Capitalism buddy, it's what makes this country successful (even semi-successful in times like these).

For someone that seems to do a lot of his graphing in freebie opportunities you sure as hell complain a hell of a lot about TNA. Not complaining about using airports or hotels, but it sounds like this all comes down to you not getting what you want the way you want it.

First off, I made it through about three lines of your pro-TNA rant before I realized I have better things to do.

Yes, the backstage passes has been done away with by-and-large.

Yet, in true carny TNA fashion, they were hawking a "Lifetime Backstage Pass" just two weeks prior for anyone who bought the $300 belt.

So, essentially, some poor saps bought belts for something that the company (if my numerous experiences are any indication) knew it was going to do away with days later.

Kind of like leading the marks to believe that the entire talent roster was gonna be at Bound For Glory, when they weren't.

Far as the belt goes, if you have the belt you don't have to buy the action figures to go back for the meet and greet and get the in-ring post show picture at no extra cost. So in all actuality it's still a valid pass. Plus there is also the issue that from speaking to several sources within the company at the most recent show saying that the backstage pass has only been temporarily suspended so as the case has been numerous times in this debate, you once again only speak of half of the truth while not knowing the full story.

I call bull on your "sources." Everyone knows TNA only has two office personnel - the little sweet girl that answers the phone and Dixie Carter, who answered recently when I called.

As for Nashville, I contributed as much to the "collective effort" as anyone. Just very little to your autographing acquirement because quite frankly I had friends to hang out with and you weren't very high on my list of priorities.

Other than that, I'm done with ya.... We've finished up on the deals we had made. I have nothing else for ya except to watch where you put your money with TNA. They're looking to rip you off.

Right, there's two people that work in that entire office. Heather, Claire, Russell, Amy, Borash, Bob Ryder. Just to name of two and that's not even at the warehouse where the ShopTNA stuff is shipped from.

I didn't need your help in acquiring anything in Nashville, I approached everyone on my own and did well at that. I was the lead off with Val first thing in the morning and continued with Gail and so on. Being anywhere at all on your list of priorities was the last thing on my mind. Your 'I'll be at the airport if you have a problem and want to settle it" bullshit dropped off the face of the earth when we were in the same place too.

I would have loved to see you get yourself into that VIP party Friday Night without me there to set things up as the 'in' though. Surely you remember that. The party where we found out that none other than 'Wildcat' Chris Harris was in town as someone in our group said he would be. That guy sure was smart packing the Chris Harris cards to get signed. I can see why you would wanna forget it though after your reaction to trying to crack on Joe blew up in your face. That's my biggest regret of the weekend, I wish I had the camera recording that.
