Guilty as charged just not with Shia LeWotsit though as I don't know who he is, but there's CERTAIN singers/bands I'll write to again if a new photo becomes available. Only once yearly however. But when it comes to actors or sportsmen I'm not so concerned, one auto's enough for me forever. Just mad over my music! ;)

Writing to someone like 8 times in 3 months (example given above) is overkill, and if several people do this it could lead to the celeb no longer replying (or sending PPs etc). If you write (for example) 8 times in 3-4 years then its not as bad, but 8 times in 3 months is too much.
Ive even seen someone on this forum state they have 23 autos from the same person. I dont know whether they wrote 23 times or not, but to me this is madness.
There are a few I have written 2-3 times, but they were over a long period of time, like Tommy Thayer of KISS. The first time I wrote him, I sent a few 4x6's, asking for myself and friends. About 8 months later, I wrote him again, sending 8x10's this time and I sent him a guitar pick of my design since he sent me two of his. I also tell them I wrote before and thank them for their autograph from before and tell them about my friends who want one. The only other one I wrote more than once was John Travolta. I'm writing him again sending a movie poster of Wild Hogs, which I plan to send to Tim Allen also. Sometimes, it's a good idea to write more than once, because of the things I send out, like dvd's, records, old sports cards. If I don't confirm the address the first time I write, then I can't send out the cool things to get signed instead of photos. I got into sending cd's, dvd's, posters, records, ect. because photos get boring after awhile. Like when I wrote Robert DeNiro, I sent a photo and a dvd of Sharktales. The dvd is one of my favorite display pieces. So, sometimes it is a good idea to send more than once, but never twice in a year.

I've written to one celebrity in a month. I did the record label, and then I saw that Enter Shikari were on tour.
That's probably the only reason why you should

Hello Shambler! ;)
It's fine to me if you write to someone again after a year because it's a long period. ;) But some people write again (when they've already received an autograph) after only 3 months!
Shia LaBeouf is an actor in movies such as "Transformers", "Disturbia", "The Greatest Game Ever Played" and more!

Hi Liz I agree, writing more than once in under a year to the same celeb is selfish! That's why so many of us struggle to get our mail answered to! I bought my brother the Transformers dvd for xmas so I'll just borrow it from him to see Shia in action ;) Michelle

why would you want to have 9 or 23 of the same autograph, thats 8 or 22 possible other people you could have had stamp's for.
store it well, keep it safe and 1 should be enough for anyone. 2 if you want to keep one safe and frame the other or something, but then send 2 photos to start with to save bothering them. I get quite anxious waiting for them, what if it got lost when i sent it, what if it got lost coming back, what if the person handling the mail got muddled up, what if the postal van caught fire and drove off a cliff in to the steaming fires of hell oh god!!!! but then you just have to show some self restraint. check the feedback and see what the average 'waiting' times are and if your request is 2/3 times the average then i would guess you should try again if you like.
When i got an autograph i hope the celeb has thought aw how nice *scribbles name* i wouldnt like them to think, aw jesus christ its that same fker as the past 22 times *scribbles name*
