Re: Do you keep your envelopes?
me too, most are my own SASE. I keep a couple 8x10 that I could maybe re-use for other mail. Not the stamps, of course.spellbound wrote:I don't keep mine
As i send SASE's 90% of them are just ones written by me with my normal stamps so i see no point really. Any others are most likely written by a secretary.
I keep them to keep the pic safe, then once framed the picture i throw all my envelopes.

Re: Do you keep your envelopes?
I've only got a few envelopes because the photo is still in it
I did keep one from Jason Isaacs though as it seemed very like he wrote my address himself.
I had got a personalised signed photo card thing from him and on the back was, "Thanks for writing!" - my address on the envelope was by the same pen and handwritting that was on the back of the photo card.
However, although I've still got the envelope, the autograph is either now in the bin or down the back of a dresser or something at my parents house

Re: Do you keep your envelopes?
I only keep them if I didn't send a SAE and the celebrity used one of their envelopes, but if its one of my envelopes that I sent to the celebrity to reply to me, I just throw them away.

Re: Do you keep your envelopes?
I used to keep them all because the post office stamp was a nice way to tell about the time that I received the autograph. But, that started to seem a little silly as I became a bigger collector so I threw them all away. Though, I still have a few that looked like they were handwritten from the celeb from the days long ago that I didn't send out SASEs.

Hi,
I usually don't keep the envelopes, but I keep the ones ,that the celebs have written by hand. And I've got one of a famous German comedian and drawer ,who has drawn a flower on the back(the autograh was a present for my father).
Yours,
Patrick
