The quality of the photo can be better if you order them online as opposed to printing them out at home. I've heard and read about some problems with the autograph on the home-printed variety of photos.

As for the "click booth," here in the US we know them as kiosks. Ordering online is usually cheaper than using the kiosks. But if you have to use one of them, I would recommend using Target, since the photos get printed right at the kiosk. Other places, such as Walmart, CVS, and Rite Aid (to name a few), the kiosk will send the file to a central printer (for lack of a better term) where the clerk can look at the pictures and potentially give you a hard time.

Provide a fake memo or e-mail stating that the photo is yours signed by someone else (or forged).
Show them the presskit where you got the picture from and sign the stupid form
I wouldnt suggest doing this, providing false information goes way beyond simple copyright violation

You could go to a Kodak kiosk. They are cheap and like someone said above, only on the screen for a few seconds. They seem to be every where

I get my images from google images. I first enlarge them on my computer to assure that there are no resolution/pixel problems then I load them on a disc and print my own photos at Kodak Kiosks. The ones I use are located either at Wal-Mart, Target, or CVS pharmacys. In most cases you are left alone as you navigate through the system and only have to present a receipt to the cashier at time of check-out, so they don't even know or care what you printed.

Yours is better than mine! They wouldn't let me copy a photo of a 1950's TV Guide cover.

I think I might try that.
I was using the Walgreens website to upload photos that I had previously uploaded form either a presskit, a fan site or Google Images. Then have them print them out for pick-up later in the day.
I did that because Walgreens, CVS and the other places usually only have two kiosks available and I get stuck behind someone who is editing and printing 50+ pictures from a wedding, bachelor party, graduation, family reunion, etc.
There's still the risk of a copyright nazi manager reviewing my pictures before they print and presenting me with the challenge of providing proof my pictures are actually mine.
So thanks to all who commented and provided alternatives to my dilemma.
Option 1: send my photos to another Walgreens
Option 2: download to flash drive and print from kiosk in store and pray
Option 3: carry around a bogus e-mail or memo to C-M-A

I print my photos and my custom cards at Costco. I download them online and then pick them up. I also know the people working there. And they have never given me a hard time.

I've never thought about doing this, so I can just save pictures I like from the net onto a cd and then can print them in a photo kiosk like with digital camera picks. Do they take USB's these days?

Usually, i take the posters out of my magazines and such. But usually, i have the dilemma of using a already "pre-printed" poster with a signature, or a not very good picture.
But I have found SOME really really good online pictures.... Do you think If i put them on a usb drive and take them to staples, they'll print them.
Some of the guys know me there, I have used staples for years, and they have never given me a hard time.
