I ALWAYS decorate my envelopes and letters. I use bright colour felt pens and sometimes I use stickers. I dont think its rude at all! I got 2 lovely successes, one from June Brown & one from Dale Howard. They said that the letter was lovely, very colourful and it was a lovely surprise {love}
I think it makes my letter stand out and I think it might give me good luck too [ugotmail]

Yes, I like to decorate my requests up to make them more eye catching. Specially when it's to a young teen star, I'll put cool stickers on it. I also make my custom index cards and use different colored peices of cardstock instead of plain white cause they look so much cooler in bright colors!

that's creative. I haven't used stickers before. I just use markers and/or colored pencils.
Thanks for all the replies!

I have only decorated one envelope before and that was about 3 or 4 years ago when i was younger. I wrote to my team Rangers FC and stuck scotland flag and rangers crests pictures on the envelope.I sent my pennant to be signed and I got it back signed in 5 days! :)

I wouldn't use loose glitter, it gets everywhere. I have glittery pens, but I rarely "add stuff" like stickers.

If there is any spare room at the bottom of a letter I've written,
I usually fill it with some little doodles, or drawings.

Sometimes I use stickers but I never draw anywhere. Also I have a return address lable that's in a frog so that somewhat adds a decoration. It's probably a good thing because I'm so bad at drawing that even my stick people look weird :lol:

Nope, never have. Some people think sending a brightly-colored envelope gives them a better chance of recieving a reply, I disagree. It's all about the quality of the letter, or how close to the top of the massive pile your letter is.
