Proper Time Between Letters

What does everyone consider the right amount of time to wait to send another letter to a celebrity that you have already recieved an autograph from through the mail? I would thin 6-8 months.

Hi,
I would agree on this time length. The usual wait (for me in Australia) is 2-3 months, but if an actor has a film or commitment during this time then their reply will obviously be delayed.
I think that anything over 8 months is a bit long because by that stage it may have been lost in the mail or the actor has changed address or studio.
I usually wait 5 months, but each to their own!

I would wait 6 months before requesting another autograph, so other fans who haven't gotten one yet can have the opportunity. That said, I've written to Jonny Wilkinson twice within two months because I didn't know he sends out such lovely promo cards, but he's my only exception
