Re: NFL TTM Thread
Got 3 New Year's requests out, that are pretty solid signers. Hope to hear back from Roger Craig, Tommy Nobis, and "The Polish Rifle" pretty soon.
Still have these guys pending from 2012- (I just send out 5 or so a month now that I am so busy so my list is now pretty small. I batted a whopping 60% on returns also.)
Here are the guys I am waiting for from 2012: Richard Johnson (CB), Larry Johnson, Dermontti Dawson, James Brown, David Garrard, Tony Boselli, Ricky Sanders, Phil Simms, Gary Brown, Lars Tate, Cisco Richard, Jake Delhomme, Tim Broady, Santana Dotson, Chris Zorich, 'Pinball' Clemons, Richard Shelton, Gregg Bingham, Merril Hoge.
Otherwise, had an RTS from Jeff Hostetler (with his initials on the envelope), Mike Lynn died, Paul Palmer was an RTS c/o Temple University, Tim Krumrie RTS but later got via an updated address, and finally a mystery DOA torn envelope corner.

I'm taking offers on that Trent Richardson mini helmet I posted a while ago. I just got his rookie card signed, so I don't need/want the mini helmet anymore. If you have an offer, let me know.

Re: NFL TTM Thread
if you havent already sent, there are a lot of old dolphins players i bet would sign. jim langer, bob kuechenberg, larry little, nick buoniconti, dick anderson, larry seiple, mercury morris just to name a few, all who ive gotten successes from. i have mercury morris on a dolphins mini helmet and i didnt evenhave to send return postage, although i wrote him a letter before and asked. id say you have a very good chance with one of these guys.lmt022 wrote:So, I'm glad I came back in today: I wish I would have seen the Kevin Green thing: I got my two cards back the other day sans-signatures. No big deal.
BUT! I did get Steve Young a few days ago, and I don't think it's autopen: With autopen signatures, there's no sign of the pen being lifted within the signature: mine has 'em.
Yeah, I'm pumped. I don't even know who to write to next.
I have a Dolphins' mini helmet that I want to get a signature on, but I don't know who to send it to. Thought about trying to get Reggie Bush, but I dunno. I doubt he'd sign it. Any ideas?

Re: NFL TTM Thread
Thanks for the info guys. It is definitely appreciated!
HUGE story: So, I was at work Friday evening, and in walks Fred Dean. (He lives in Ruston.) He shakes my hand says, "I still haven't gotten your cards sign man, I just haven't seen Steve [Young] or Joe [Montana], but as soon as I do, trust me, I'll get them signed for you. I haven't forgotten you."
He remembered me AND remembered his promise. So, that's cool.
Also a HUGE story: Mr. Dean has his football camp every year, here at Tech, his Alma Mater. The director of the Boys and Girls Club, the organization that puts on the camp, informed me that he is working on getting the other two Louisiana Tech NFL HOFers: Willie Roaf and Terry Bradshaw. Considering the fact that the Walgreens I work for takes pictures for the event every year, I may, in fact, get a chance to meet my hero, Terry Bradshaw. I am friggin' ecstatic.
Next set of card to send out (pending finding addresses): Warren Moon, Billy Miller, Boomer Esiason, Jim Jeffcoat, Rod Woodson, Brian Blades, Stan Humphries, and Lance Moore.

Good luck!! I've gotten successes from moon, boomer, and humphries. I'm currently waiting on Brian blades and rod woodson, but I sent both of those about 10 months ago. Let me know if you get a success with jeffcoat.lmt022 wrote:Thanks for the info guys. It is definitely appreciated!

Re: NFL TTM Thread
Greetings everyone! Sorry I have been MIA for a while, but I am going to try and check the site more often now that the holidays and my crazy schedule have settled down. Still waiting for quite a few requests from 2012, but there is one that I haven't reported yet.
Got back Redskins Pro Bowl special teamer and linebacker Lorenzo Alexander a couple of weeks ago. Sent c/o Redskins and took about a month. He signed a photo that I took of him trying to block Dexter Manley at a Beach Blitz demonstration event in Virginia Beach. I got a great photo of Dexter blowing right by him and Lorenzo looking back. I told him to keep that photo and sign the other one I sent, but he did the opposite. Very happy with the return either way!

Re: NFL TTM Thread
decent ttm mailday. got back:
Dan persa, current free agent and QB for Northwestern last year 1/1 took about 2 weeks
Ken Dorsey, former Miami Hurricanes and 49ers QB 1/1 about 2 weeks
David Fulcher, former Bengals DB 5/5 about 7.5 months
Gino Cappelletti, 1964 AFL MVP 1/1 in about 2 weeks
Cody Risien, Browns offensive lineman during the 80's 1/1 in about 2 weeks
if you need any of the addresses for any of these just send me a message. they are all pretty reliable signers.
also, ive been trying to get around to posting all my successes over the last 6 months. I was gone for 6 months and just returned and opened 36 ttm envelopes for football cards and about 10 large envelopes for 8x10 email requests. stay tuned.
