I need to help, please

Unread post by Serra-Tayanami »

Hi !

My name is Claire, I'm French !
I'm sorry, but I don't find where to put my question... This is my first try =)

I want to send in england 2 photos (of Richard Armitage)
* I have a shell 22.5cm / 16.1cm
* I have a lot of 2nd Royal Mail stamps
(Above it is written 240mm long
165mm wide
100g weight)
* I didn't photos, but it will be about 50g max ! I'm afraid that will not be enough, so I put two stamps!

I want to send and other shell at Aidan Turner in Ireland (identical size), but I don't find stamps of Irland, so I buy international reply coupon

No information on the weight, so I asked to the post office, it told me that 1 coupon = 20g

Did I properly prepared mail ?
Is it that there is enough postage on the envelope for France?

Thank you very much =)

For the French request I think 2x 2nd class stamps will be enough but I am not sure especially if the weight is 50g.

The info printed on the stamp booklet is for a UK domestic mail only, not abroad/airmail.

Check http://www.royal-mail.com/pricefinder for the proper price to France. {up}

For Aidan Turner in Dublin you would need to look at http://postage.anpost.ie/

Look up the price for 20g letter and try to work it if one IRC will be enough. It is usually advised to send 2-3.

Thanks for your reply.
I see the site,I see how much to pay for France (about € 7) but I do not know how much is 1 stamp

I bought a set of 12 stamps and I prepared three letters to england ... so I'll put 4 stamps by letter... I have used all my stamps
This is my first try, I prefer to put the quantity and have an answer

For answers coupons, I have got 4, I will put 3 in the envelope for ireland

I think this will be enough, I hope. Because as this at a cost

For total weight, I'm not sure because I have not yet printed photos.

But I used 2 other autographs of my collection, much larger than the envelope, and I had less than 50g
So I think with two smaller photos the weight will be less than 50g =)

Thank you for your reply, I hope to have personalized autograph ! ;)
