Ok, looking for some info/tips. I've collected autographs for a long time, but never tried to do something like this until a friend asked me about it. Can't believe I never thought about it. When it comes to professional sports teams, is it a good idea to try the airport? I'm from Indiana, USA. The Indianapolis airport is relatively small. The inside is "Y" shaped. There's one large entrance that opens into a food court/lobby, and then there's an entrance to each terminal on the other end of the food court/lobby (only two terminals). So, it would be easy to sit in the lobby and pick someone out, especially if a team is travelling as a group. Anyways, on to the questions...
1. Would professional sports teams (mainly looking for NFL) use the regular terminals, or do airports usually have a special entrance for high profile people/groups?
2. Assuming a team has no reason to stay (e.g. an NFL team, or an NBA team that is playing in a different city the next night), do they usually leave that night following the game/event, or do they usually wait for the next morning?
3. Has anyone ever attempted meeting someone at the airport, and if so what was the result?
Thanks for any help.
