TTM VV Movie Premiere Questions (USA)

I was just wondering if anyone here has had any successes with sending mail to a venue for a movie premiere in the US?

I've seen a few successes via premiere venues in the UK but never in the US.

I'm thinking about sending off something to a premiere venue the next time Adam Sandler is in town whether it be in the US or UK...I have seen a success from him via the UK.

Is there anything I should know before doing this? Can I use regular manila envelopes or should I use special Fed Ex ones? Any help at all will be appreciated!

I'm not sure about sending requests TTM to US premieres, as I've never tried it before.

However, from my own experiences at Austrailan premieres celebrities will walk the red carpet, do interviews, have photos taken, head into the theatre, introduce the film and eventually leave through a rear exit (or other exit).

The celebrities may not be there long, or may be busy promoting the film that whomever has your mail may not have a proper opportunity to pass it onto the celebrity.

However, I'm not saying its impossible so perhaps anyone else who's tried it can give a few pointers ...

Seeing a success with sending a letter to a celeb attending a premiere in London, I tried to send fan mail to an actor though a premiere in LA (I believe) - and the result was an RTS. I don't know if the actor wasn't even there, the theatre refused to pass it on or if there was another reason. I think that getting a success through a movie premiere is a rare thing, you have to be very lucky to get your leter close the celeb. However, you can always try and hope, you might be the lucky one {thumb2} .
