I am so angry because everytime i send an autograph request i forget to have the envelope inside the bigger envelope to the celebrity stamped meaning all set to mail back to me and now i am worried i will not get celebrities autographs now since i never do that. It is also too much money to put the smaller envelope as a SASE

If you want the chance of getting a reply, then you write a nice letter, include the photo that you want signed, write your name and address on an envelope and put the postage on it, and put all that inside the one big envelope that also has postage on it.

So there a 4 things that you need:

1) a written letter
2) a photo
3) an envelope (which the written letter and photo can fit into) and that has postage on it
4) a large envelope that the written letter, photo and other envelope all fit into and that has postage on it

Did you include your address anywhere within the letter?like ink the top corner before you began writing etc? You may be lucky enough for the celeb to use their own envelope and return your goods to you!

If you included your address to your letter it should be ok. I was sending my requests without SAE and I usually got a responses.
Now I always include SAE.

I didn't include my address on the letter because the address was already on the smaller envelope for them to return to me

Firstly, ranting at people for not responding does nothing.

I'll answer what seemed to be your main point, I think, it was hard to tell among that.

If you didn't include any mention of your address anywhere, and forgot to put in the SAE, then no, you're not going to get anything back.
As for it being too expensive, it's just good manners to include a SASE, as you have no right to expect someone else to pay for your postage. Some of them will be kind enough to do so, but overall, you'll spend more money on nothing, as a higher percentage will never been seen again.

Secondly I just started this Hobby of collecting autographs as for you who apparently thinks i should know what the Hell a SASE is but i don't really know what it is so if you could explain i would appreciate it. Thirdly you don't have to talk to me like I am stupid because i am not. If i wanted someone to talk to me like i am an idiot i would ask for it. Some people see the posts i make but have no interest in responding to them. If you going to be mean then i do not need your help so thanks for trying but it is really getting on my nerves the way you answered my question.

If you're new, as has been suggested, do some reading, it will help you. If you don't want to be spoken to like a child, or be ignored, then don't kick off when someone doesn't respond to your posts, all that does is show you up. It happens all the time. Not every person responds to every post, not everyone knows the answers, and answers don't always come. Given there are about 200 posts of what is an SASE etc in this forum, it's not hard to find the answers, and there's even massive pinned topics at the top of the collecting help forum giving you every bit of information that you need. I'm pretty sure I actually answered your question though, which no one else properly did, and that you were the one who mentioned it being too expensive to make the reply envelope an SASE, indicated that you already knew what it was.

Edit to add... I have just re-read your post, and I see you may have meant you put the envelope in for replying, but did not stamp it. If that is the case, you have a chance of a response, it depends on the celebrity in question.
